Cookie Policy
How cookies and similar technologies are used on the Clinical & Diagnostic Services website, and why patient records are not stored in them.
Last updated: 26 September 2026.
Who we are
This policy applies to the public website of Clinical & Diagnostic Services, 36 Foxland Road, Gatley, Cheadle, SK8 4QB. Email info@clinicaldiagnostic.co.uk. Phone 0161 258 0667.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website can store on your device. Similar technologies include local storage in the browser. Cookies can remember a choice, keep a page secure, or, on some sites, measure visits or show adverts.
Health information is not stored in cookies
Ultrasound details, clinical correspondence, coding, prescription information and other patient records are not placed in cookies on this website. That information is handled in clinical systems under our Privacy Policy and, for practice work, under the agreement with the practice. Please do not put medical details into a cookie banner or into the address bar of the browser.
Cookies on this website
This website does not set analytics, advertising or social-media cookies, and it does not use cookies to build a profile of your health or to offer personalised clinical recommendations.
The pages you open are served as ordinary web pages. The contact form keeps what you type only in the page while you are filling it in. Those details are not stored as a cookie. The Privacy Policy explains how an enquiry is used once it reaches CDS.
Strictly necessary
A strictly necessary cookie is one the site needs in order to work, for example to remember a security check or a choice you have asked us to store. This site does not currently set that kind of cookie either. If we add one later, we will list its name, purpose and how long it lasts on this page.
Font files
Pages load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. That request can send your IP address and browser details to Google so the font file can be delivered. It is not used by CDS to identify you or to store health information. You can read Google’s own privacy information at policies.google.com/privacy.
How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them will not stop you reading these pages, because the site does not depend on a cookie to show content. Guidance for common browsers is published by the browser maker.
If we later add cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will ask for your choice before they are set, and we will update this page.
Changes and contact
We will change this policy if the cookies on the site change. Questions can be sent to info@clinicaldiagnostic.co.uk. Please also read the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
