Terms & Conditions
These terms cover use of this website and the basis on which Clinical & Diagnostic Services provides healthcare support.
Last updated: 26 September 2026.
About these terms
This website is operated by Clinical & Diagnostic Services (“CDS”, “we”, “us”), 36 Foxland Road, Gatley, Cheadle, SK8 4QB. Email info@clinicaldiagnostic.co.uk. Phone 0161 258 0667. The office is open Monday to Saturday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
By using this website you agree to these terms. Healthcare services for a GP practice or another organisation are also covered by the written agreement with that organisation. If that agreement says something different about the service, the agreement applies to the service.
This website is not personal medical advice
Pages about scans, coding, documents, prescriptions and practice support describe our services. They are general information. They do not diagnose a condition, replace a consultation, or tell you to start, stop or change a medicine.
If you need urgent medical help, contact your GP, NHS 111, or in an emergency 999. Do not use the contact form for an urgent clinical problem.
Ultrasound
An ultrasound goes ahead only when an appointment has been confirmed. Follow the preparation instructions sent for your scan. If none arrived, call us before you attend.
Urgent reports are sent to the patient’s registered GP by NHS email within 24 hours. Non-urgent reports are sent within 48 hours. Your GP explains the result. A report on this website, or a conversation with reception, is not a substitute for that explanation.
Please arrive with the details the appointment asks for. We may need to rearrange a scan if the preparation was not followed or if it would be unsafe to continue.
Services for healthcare organisations
Primary care coding, document management, prescription support and practice support are provided to GP practices, primary care networks and other healthcare organisations under a contract. Coding uses SNOMED CT and Read codes. Remote access, where the practice requires it, uses NHS-approved access software. The clinical system is agreed during setup.
The practice remains responsible for its patient record and for clinical decisions. CDS carries out the work described in the contract. Prescription-related work is a workflow support service. It does not transfer prescribing responsibility away from the clinician who is accountable for the prescription.
Confidentiality
Patient information, correspondence and diagnostic reports are confidential. They are handled in line with our Privacy Policy, data protection law and the agreement with the practice. Do not send full clinical records or images through the public website form. Use the route agreed with the practice, or the contact details on your appointment letter.
Using this website
You may use this website to read about our services, find patient information and send an enquiry. You must not misuse it. That includes trying to access another person’s information, interfering with the site, or sending anything unlawful, misleading or harmful.
We may update, suspend or withdraw pages, including when a service description changes. Current services are Primary Care Coding, Document Management, Prescription Services, Ultrasound Services and Practice Support.
Our content
The text, layout and graphics on this website belong to CDS or its licensors. You may read them and share a link to a page. You may not copy the site for a commercial service, or present our material as your own.
Liability
We take care to keep this website accurate. Service details can change, so confirm anything important with us before you rely on it. We are not liable for loss that was not a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms, or for loss caused by you relying on general website text as personal clinical advice.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that UK law does not allow us to exclude. If you are a patient or another consumer, you also keep the rights that the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales deal with disputes, except where UK law lets you bring a claim in your home part of the United Kingdom.
